Integrated YouTube Control
Now Chrome allows users to control YouTube no matter which tab is being opened. When playing a video on YouTube, there will be a music note icon featured on the browser menu. Click this icon to see what you are playing. Either click the video’s title or control playback right from this pop-up window to open YouTube.
Cast Your Screen
Like Netflix and Hulu, your Chromecast can be used to cast content from video-streaming services on your phone to your TV. You can also beam what you are watching on your PC screen to your TV that has Chrome’s built-in Cast functionality. To do this, you just need to right-click anywhere in Google Chrome and choose Cast. Another way is to use the three-dot icon on the top right of the screen. In the pop-up window, choose the Chromecast-enabled device which you like your browser window to appear on.
Search Directly Inside Sites with the Omnibox
You can search via many websites without navigating to them actually, as long as they are in your search engines list. This trick gives you some benefit if you wanted, for instance, to directly go to the Wikipedia article on orangutans without heading to Google.com or Wikipedia’s front page.
So, to quickly search Wikipedia, click Add under Manage search engines and then add the site. After doing that, if you type Wikipedia.org in the omnibox, you will see a prompt which tells you to press tab to search in the site. Pressing the tab button, you will see search Wikipedia written on the omnibox’s left side. You just need to type your query and Chrome will only search within Wikipedia.
Do More with Omnibox
Just like the Google search bar, the Chrome omnibox functions also perform some of the same tricks. It can answer basic questions, solve math problems, and perform conversions even before you have finished typing your search.
