Apple free writing names on AirPods and Apple Pencil

Apple allows users to write their names on AirPods, iPad and Apple Pencil for free. Apple has just introduced the next generation of wireless AirPods. The new AirPods brings major upgrades to the inside with H1 chip designed by Apple exclusively for listening devices, wireless charging capability as well as adding “Hey Siri” features.

Apple users recently discovered an interesting offer of Apple to those who buy this headset: customers can ask Apple to write a headset box with name, greetings or whatever. any message I want. Of course, apart from the 199 USD price of the product, everything is free. To be able to use this preferential service, users simply need to order AirPods in the usual way. When coming to the payment section, Apple will show the option to engrave the name or pack you wish.

Clicking on the writing name will lead to another window. Here we can freely add any desired text to the AirPods. The only condition is that the characters must be short enough to only be on one line, averaging 14-15 characters.

Apple’s name engraving service dates back to the time of the first iPod Classic and is still maintained today. Not only with AirPods, users can also etch the newly launched iPad, iPod and even the second generation Apple Pencil (however, it cannot be engraved on the first generation Pencil pen.)

Users can only engrave names on products when ordering through Apple Store online, and have to wait a few more days to receive products. Products engraved with Apple’s name will still receive the warranty as normal.

A MacRumors forum member said that if he knew of the name engraving service, he would engrave on the iPad Pro to buy the words “Apple makes me broke.”
